App Terminology & Definition

1. Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust:

Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust is a socio-religious organization dedicated to uniting and empowering enlightened individuals of the Jain community. It serves as a platform for professionals, intellectuals, and youth to come together and work towards the upliftment of society while staying rooted in Jain principles such as non-violence, truth, and ethical living. The trust actively promotes education, cultural awareness, and spiritual growth through various events, seminars, and initiatives. It also contributes to social welfare by organizing health camps, environmental drives, and community support activities.

The Trust believes that digitization and structured communication are essential for uniting Jains across regions, sects, and generations, while preserving and promoting the rich heritage and wisdom of Jainism.

2. Siasys:

Siasys is a forward-thinking technology firm focused on building impactful digital products with a social purpose. As the tech development partner for JPMT, Siasys has helped transform the vision of Jaintva into a functional, scalable, and user-friendly mobile app, designed specifically to serve the diverse needs of the Jain community in the modern era.

3. Jaintva:

Jaintva is a dedicated community platform created by Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust to connect, empower, and serve the Jain community worldwide. The app offers features like Jain Shravak Card, community networking, event updates, knowledge sharing, and future tools like matrimony, sadhu-sant, and more. Jaintva is built to strengthen unity, preserve cultural roots, and enable the collective growth of the Jain society through technology.

4. Jain Shravak Card:

The Jain Shravak Card is a visionary initiative by Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust, created to give every Jain individual a unique identity within the community. It is more than just a card — it is a step towards unity, recognition, and collective progress. By recording essential personal, cultural, and religious details, this card helps build a verified Jain community database that can be used to deliver future benefits like matrimony services, medical assistance, blood donation networks, community welfare programs, and more.

The Jain Shravak Card is a symbol of belonging, designed to connect Jains across the world, preserve our heritage, and empower every Jain family to grow together.

5. Sangh & Level of Sangh:

In the organizational structure of Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust, Sangh refers to the official body or board established at multiple levels to manage, guide, and implement the Trust's mission across the community. Sangh is the foundation of leadership, accountability, and discipline within the Trust. It plays a crucial role in building a unified Jain community by ensuring that all members and activities remain aligned with the values and objectives of the organization.

The reason behind creating the Sangh at every level is to bring decentralized leadership into action. Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust is a growing and community-based platform, and managing its operations across cities, states, and the nation requires a system that can function efficiently at different levels. The Sangh system makes this possible by distributing leadership and responsibility, enabling smooth coordination, and ensuring that every region, every volunteer, and every activity is guided and monitored with clarity and structure.

The Sangh structure is designed hierarchically, starting with the Foundation Sangh at the top. The Foundation Sangh is the central leadership body responsible for all major decision-making, long-term strategy, and approvals of new initiatives. It acts as the vision-setting core of the entire Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust.

Below the Foundation Sangh is the National Sangh, which operates at the country level. It works to implement the directives of the Foundation and coordinates with State Sanghs for nationwide campaigns, communication, and activities. The State Sangh manages operations at the state level. It supports and supervises the District and City Sanghs in that region and ensures that all state-wide programs and events run smoothly.

The next level is the District or City Sangh, which functions locally within districts or urban areas. This Sangh handles the engagement of local members, organizes events, and serves as a bridge between the local Jain community and higher Sangh levels. Finally, we have the Local Sangh, which operates at the grassroots level — in towns, villages, and residential communities. This Sangh is directly connected to Jain families, ensuring that everyone has access to the Trust's initiatives, programs, and services.

Each Sangh level not only manages its responsibilities but also monitors and supports the level beneath it. For example, the State Sangh mentors District Sanghs, and the District Sangh guides the Local Sanghs under it. This chain of leadership ensures that activities at the ground level are aligned with the larger goals of the organization and that no community or region is left out.

The purpose of this entire structure is to build a connected, empowered, and disciplined Jain community, where leadership is not limited to one center but spread across the nation. It also encourages active participation from members, transparency in functioning, and faster execution of community service programs. Sangh ensures that every member's voice is heard, every issue is addressed at the right level, and every opportunity to serve is taken forward with unity and vision.

In summary, Sangh is not just a management team — it is the heart of the Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust's operations. It ensures proper governance, leadership growth, and smooth execution of the Trust's work at every level. Through the Sangh system, Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust can move closer to its goal of creating a strong, united, and service-oriented Jain community.

6. Type of Sangh:

Each level of Sangh within the Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust is divided into three key types to ensure focused participation, inclusive representation, and efficient execution:

  • Main Sangh
This is the central and primary body at every level — whether Foundation, National, State, District, or Local. All members, regardless of age or gender, are part of the Main Sangh. It handles core planning, decision-making, coordination, and leadership.
  • Mahila Sangh
A special division for women, formed under the Main Sangh at every level. Any female member who wishes to contribute specifically to women-led initiatives, cultural programs, social work, or empowerment activities can choose to join the Mahila Sangh. It functions as a dedicated platform to encourage active female leadership and involvement.
  • Yuva Sangh
This is the youth wing of the Sangh and is open to both male and female members under the age of 35. The Yuva Sangh focuses on youth development, innovation, leadership, awareness drives, and energetic execution of activities. It provides a space for young minds to lead and grow within the Jain community framework.

Both Mahila Sangh and Yuva Sangh function as departments under the Main Sangh, allowing all three to work in harmony while focusing on their unique areas of strength. This structure ensures that every section of the community—senior leaders, women, and youth—has a voice and a role in shaping the future of Jain society.

7. Sangh Page – The Digital Profile & Control Center

The Sangh Page is a dedicated space in the Jaintva App that represents the official profile of any Sangh (Foundation, National, State, District/City, or Local). It is designed to showcase the Sangh's identity, manage its activities, and handle all its administrative functions.

Key Features of the Sangh Page:

  • Post Activities & Updates
Each Sangh can post updates, news, and completed activities from their level directly through their Sangh Page to keep members and the community informed.
  • Create New Sanghs (as per hierarchy)
Depending on the level of the Sangh, the page allows them to create and manage lower-level Sanghs:
    1. Foundation Sangh (top level): Can create any level of Sangh, including National, State, District/City, Local, and also their Mahila and Yuva Sanghs.
    2. National Sangh: Can create National Mahila/Yuva Sanghs and all State-level Sanghs.
    3. State Sangh: Can create State Mahila/Yuva Sanghs and District/City & Local Sanghs.
    4. District/City Sanghs: Can create District/City Mahila/Yuva Sanghs and Local Sanghs.
    5. Local Sanghs: Can only create their respective Mahila Sangh and Yuva Sangh, since they are the lowest level in the structure.
  • Manage Sangh Members & Leadership Roles
The Sangh Page displays all Sanghs created under it, along with:
    1. Sangh Name & Location
    2. Key positions like President, Secretary, and Treasurer (the core office-bearer posts at every level)
  • Project Submission & Review
    Sanghs can:
    1. Apply for new projects by submitting project forms to their senior Sangh for approval.
    2. Review, accept, or reject project proposals submitted by junior Sanghs under them.

Why It Matters:

The Sangh Page is the digital command center for each Sangh. It helps maintain transparency, structure, and smooth communication between Sanghs at different levels. It also empowers each Sangh to manage their team, projects, funds, and outreach, while staying connected to the overall vision of Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust.

8. Member/Membership:

Sangh Members are users who want to join the Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust and actively be a part of the organization at different levels, such as Foundation, National, State, District/City, or Local Sangh. These members take responsibility to serve the community, participate in Trust activities, and help in managing and growing the organization.

9. Panch Chaupal:

Panch Chaupal is a traditional-inspired feature where every Sangh has a group of 5 respected members (Panch) chosen from within. These members help guide, resolve disputes, and maintain unity within the Sangh. Panch Chaupal brings wisdom, trust, and cultural values into the heart of the Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust.

10. Project:

Projects are activities, events, or initiatives planned and carried out by different levels of Sangh under the Jain Prabuddh Manch Trust. Each Sangh can create and submit their project plans directly through the app using a project report template provided in the form format.

Once a Sangh submits a project, it is automatically sent to the senior/higher-level Sangh for review and approval. Only after approval can the project officially begin. This ensures proper coordination, accountability, and support across all levels of the organization.

The Project feature helps in organizing community work, events, campaigns, and service initiatives in a structured and transparent way.
